Shiba Inu Breeder in Estonia – Akane-Hinata Kennel

Akane-Hinata shiba inu kennel

Akane-Hinata Kennel is a rapidly developing Shiba Inu kennel in Estonia, dedicated to responsible breeding, preservation of traditional Japanese bloodlines, and raising healthy, well-balanced dogs. Our kennel is officially registered with the International Cynological Federation (FCI) and the Estonian Kennel Union (Eesti Kennelliit), which means that all dogs and puppies from our kennel receive FCI/EKL pedigrees.

We are also proud to be part of Nihon Ken Hozonkai (NIPPO), one of the most respected Japanese organizations dedicated to preserving the native Japanese dog breeds. Being connected to NIPPO reflects our deep respect for the authentic type, temperament, and heritage of the Shiba Inu.

Our kennel is located in Estonia, about 20 minutes from Tallinn city center, in a quiet and comfortable environment where our dogs can grow and develop in a natural and caring setting.

The main goal of Akane-Hinata Shiba Inu kennel is to breed dogs that represent the true spirit of the breed: elegant, healthy, confident, and balanced in both appearance and temperament.

About the Breeder – Jekaterina Gelfond

My name is Jekaterina, and I am the owner of Akane-Hinata Kennel.

I have been actively involved with the Shiba Inu breed since 2018, and over the years this breed has become a very important part of my life. What first attracted me to Shiba Inu was their unique personality, intelligence, and beautiful natural appearance.

Dog shows are an important part of my journey with the breed. I enjoy participating in exhibitions because they allow me to evaluate my dogs, receive feedback from experienced judges, and continue improving my breeding program.

Education is also very important to me. I regularly participate in online and offline seminars related to dog breeding, canine health, and genetics in order to constantly expand my knowledge.

In addition to breeding, I am also one of the founders of the Shiba Inu Breed Club in Estonia, helping to support and promote the breed in the country.

Our Shiba Inu Dogs

Dogs from Akane-Hinata Kennel come from carefully selected bloodlines and actively participate in dog shows across Europe. Our Shiba Inu regularly receive excellent descriptions from judges and many of our dogs have earned champion titles.

While show results are important for evaluating breeding quality, health and temperament are just as essential. For this reason, all dogs in our kennel undergo health testing recommended for the breed.

Our breeding program focuses on combining:

This careful approach allows us to raise Shiba Inu puppies that can succeed both in dog shows and as beloved family companions.
